ASTM D3575 Flexible Cellular Materials Test Machine- Suffix T Tensile Strength and Elongation

This test method covers the measurement of the force necessary to produce 25 % compression over the entire top area of the foam specimen

These test methods apply to flexible closed cell materials made from olefin polymers or blends of olefin polymers with other polymers.

Suffix T- In this suffix,Tensile Strength and Elongation is done according to ASTM D412

Suffix BB- In this suffix , Constant Compression Creep is measured

Suffix G- In this suffix , tear resistance test is done according to ASTM D624. And die C shall be used.

Note :This standard and ISO 7214 address the same subject matter, but differ in technical content.
